REINSCHIFF YACHT STORAGE
MALLORCA

Reinschiff Yacht Storage provides both indoor and outdoor yacht storage in Son Bugadelles, Calvià, Mallorca. Our facility offers 1,000 m² of indoor storage and 1,000 m² of outdoor storage for yachts, superyacht chase boats, tenders and water toys. Both storage options can be combined with yacht maintenance, winter works, refit coordination and seasonal preparation, allowing the vessel and its planned work list to be managed through one experienced team.

Our indoor storage is accessed through a 9 m high × 6 m wide entrance, allowing us to accommodate larger yachts, chase boats and tenders that cannot enter many conventional indoor boat storage facilities. In practice, the principal limitation is usually road transport rather than the storage building itself. For our normal transport operations, 25 tonnes is the maximum vessel weight allowance for transport by truck. Before confirming storage, we assess the vessel's actual overall length, beam, height, weight and transport configuration to confirm both transport and facility access.

Reinschiff Yacht Storage specialises in the storage and winter support of superyacht chase boats, tenders and support craft in Mallorca. Captains and yacht management companies can leave the vessel with one experienced shore-side team while the mothership continues operating or enters its own winter or refit programme. We can coordinate the complete process, including haul-out, road transport, storage, maintenance, winter works, technical repairs, reporting, preparation and relaunch.

Reinschiff can coordinate the complete journey from your yacht's home port to our storage facility in Son Bugadelles. If you are not in Mallorca, one of our professional skippers can collect the yacht and deliver it to the shipyard for haul-out. Depending on the yacht's location and dimensions, we usually use Port Adriano, Santa Ponça or Puerto Portals. Port Adriano is closest to our facility and offers the largest lifting capacity of the three. At the shipyard, the yacht is hauled out, pressure washed and loaded onto a professional yacht transport truck. Reinschiff oversees the operation and keeps the owner, captain or management team updated with photographs throughout the process. On arrival at Reinschiff Yacht Storage, the yacht is unloaded in our dedicated maintenance area, where it undergoes an initial deep clean and winterisation of the relevant systems. Only once these works are completed do we move the yacht with our 30-ton BOATLIFT® into the indoor storage facility, where it is positioned and covered. This process helps us maintain a clean, controlled indoor storage environment while giving owners and captains one point of contact from berth to storage.

Yes. Reinschiff Yacht Storage maintains professional insurance cover appropriate to our yacht storage, handling and maintenance operations. For captains, yacht managers or owners requiring documentation before placing a vessel with us, a copy of our current insurance cover can be provided on request.

Our facility is protected by 24/7 video surveillance, including thermal cameras, and has dedicated fire detection and firefighting systems in place. Access to the facility is controlled, and yachts stored indoors benefit additionally from being kept within an enclosed environment protected from prolonged exposure to weather, UV, salt, dust and contamination.

Yes. This is a key part of our service for superyacht captains and yacht management companies. Reinschiff can take over the chase boat or tender's agreed winter work and refit list, coordinate the required works and provide regular progress updates, reports and photographs to the captain or management team. Our objective is to provide the yacht's crew with a dependable shore-side team in Mallorca, allowing them to concentrate on the mothership and owner programme while we manage the tender or chase boat ashore.

Our in-house team provides services including antifouling, Propspeed application, polishing and protective coatings for paint and gelcoat, teak deck maintenance and general yacht care. Beyond our in-house services, we can arrange virtually any additional maintenance, technical, repair, upgrade or refit work through our established network of specialised marine contractors in Mallorca. Reinschiff coordinates and oversees these contractors, manages the work list and keeps the owner, captain or management team informed throughout the project. This allows the complete winter work or refit programme to be managed through one experienced point of contact while the vessel is in storage.

Yes. Reinschiff offers winter yacht storage, year-round storage and short-term yacht storage in Mallorca, subject to availability. Storage can be combined with maintenance, technical works, repairs, refit works and seasonal preparation. Whether the vessel stays with us for the winter, throughout the year or for a shorter period between operations, we can tailor the storage and work programme to the yacht's requirements.

Indoor yacht storage provides maximum protection from prolonged exposure to UV, rain, salt, dust and weather and is particularly suitable for high-value yachts, superyacht chase boats and tenders during extended storage or winter works. Outdoor yacht storage can be a practical alternative depending on the vessel's dimensions, intended storage period and planned work programme. Reinschiff offers both options at our facility in Son Bugadelles and can recommend the most suitable solution based on the vessel and intended works.

Yes. Reinschiff can coordinate the complete return from storage to the water. Once the agreed storage, maintenance and winter works are completed, we prepare the yacht for transport, coordinate the yacht transport truck and shipyard, oversee the launch and carry out the required final checks. Where requested, our team can also conduct a sea trial after launch to check the vessel's systems and operation before handover to the owner, captain or crew. This allows Reinschiff to manage the complete process from berth to storage and back to the water.
